Vision Statement
The Greater Effingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry will serve as our community’s hub and will be the primary source of information that makes Effingham County a great place to live, work, grow, play, visit, prosper and raise a family.
 
We will be recognized as the organization that moves this community forward. Through our leadership, the resources we provide, and our welcoming attitude, we will help build and sustain a strong, diversified business community that attracts the investment of commerce and consumers.  We will provide information, advocacy, communication and a network that helps member businesses profit, grow and learn from one another.
 
As a result of our efforts, Effingham County will increase its value as a Midwest center for business and travelers.  We will be great hosts for those who visit here and helpful colleagues in an attractive business community for those who locate here.


Mission Statement
The mission of the Greater Effingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry is:

Business Development Division
To serve as a central resource for employers by providing information and programs necessary to support business decision-making, retention and expansion.


Membership Development Division
To increase Chamber membership and membership participation in Chamber activities through networking, retention and recruitment programs.


Community Development Division
To promote Effingham County as an excellent place in which to live, work and do business by supporting and developing programs that highlight the quality of life.


Workforce Development
To assist area employers in the attraction, development and training of a quality workforce to ensure a stable employment base for the area.


Resource Development
To develop new ways to fund Chamber operations and address capital improvement needs that rely on resources other than annual Chamber membership investments.
